Broken electronics, blown out light bulbs and squeaky furniture, there always seems to be little things to fix in the home. To address these common issues, you can set up a weekly or monthly “Fix-it Station” staffed by neighbours with basic repair skills. These volunteers could be members of your community with various skill sets (such as those with a trades background). You can start by putting up a poster in the common area asking for volunteers to sign up. You can also partner with local organizations or high schools to see if anyone can lend an extra hand.
